Strategic Advancement

The AOWINDE Project is a key initiative aimed at transforming the offshore wind energy industry in the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion. This project is developed in response to the European Green Deal Industrial Plan and is supported by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund. AOWINDE is committed to promoting sustainable development and competitiveness in the region by encouraging the generation of clean and sustainable energy.

Objectives

Our main goal is to accelerate the development and significance of offshore wind energy in the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion. We achieve this through public-private collaboration and the implementation of support tools for the cross-border offshore wind energy value chain. We also seek to attract new players to the region, provide specialized training, and actively promote offshore wind energy as a sustainable power source.
